Education Aims of Construction Engineering Program

Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, gives high priority to development of the supposed program as one of its urgent plans. The basic aim of the supposed program CE is to provide students with well integrated program that gives an opportunity for development of necessary competencies for a successful career in the field of construction. At the end of the program, our graduates are expected:
1- To become an engineer who is professionally capable of applying technical and administrative skills to planning, designing, building, operating or maintaining the built environment and global infrastructure, and to improve his skills of system analysis and design, identifying project methods and materials, analyzing project costs and management of technical activities to support civil engineering projects.
2- To develop communication skills as for language and written, visual and graphical media when working as team members or as team leaders so that they can participate effectively in their communities and careers.
3- To grasp professionalism, ethics, performance quality, public policy, safety and sustainability that allow them to be leaders of professional teams and to take part in community through solving engineering problems and devising solutions of civil engineering.
4- To keep continuous program of lifelong education and learning focusing on contemporary issues.
5- To be able to participate and engage in society and to assume leading roles in professional associations and community organizations.
