Therefore, the bylaw of Environmental architecture program set a vision for the development of the architectural and environmental education system to cope with future developments and meet the demands of the labor market in a good environment conducive to creativity and innovation.

This program was designed for those who wish to work in the field of environmental architecture and to have rank of a professional engineer. The program focuses on technical and engineering courses to qualify students to face the labor market.

The contemporary practice of environmental architecture requires a full understanding of the principles and concepts of the profession, with a focus on modern technologies, developments and techniques in all local and international construction fields. The field of environmental architecture is critical to the development, planning and construction of environmentally friendly cities. Accordingly, the Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University, believes that it must propose the establishment of a new bachelor degree through the set up a program of (Environmental Architecture Engineering “EAE”) which has the two divisions (Environmental Architectural Design “EAD”) and (Environmental Urban Design “EUD').

This program trains students in the field of environmental architecture and integration of engineering sciences with applications. As such, the graduates of this program are able to prepare the appropriate architectural and urban architectural designs and carry out successful implementation, development, construction and operation of buildings of all kinds. The graduate of this program has the right to join the Engineers Syndicate.
