Under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; and Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information, under supervision of Dr. Ayda Nasr, Acting Head of Information Technology Department; and Dr. Maran Labib, Lecturer at Information Technology Department, Faculty of Computer and Information achieved the third and seventh ranks in the closing activities of the academic year organized by the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) in support of youth and innovation.
The competition witnessed strong participation from more than 60 graduation projects representing universities and educational institutions across the Republic. The two Faculty teams demonstrated outstanding performance and succeeded in securing third and seventh places at the national level.
This achievement is part of the initiatives launched by the NTRA to strengthen the connection between academic education and labor market requirements, while developing youth’s skills in emerging technological fields, including cybersecurity, the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G networks, and data analytics.
For her part, Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Faculty Dean, extended her sincere congratulations and pride to the winners and the entire team participating in the NTRA Graduation Projects Competition on their distinguished achievement and their success in securing third and seventh places nationwide among more than 60 competing projects from universities and educational institutions across Egypt.
She expressed her great pride in this accomplishment, emphasizing that it reflects the high level of competence of the students and their ability to innovate and compete strongly in vital and rapidly developing technological fields.
In addition, she praised the tremendous efforts of the academic staff who supervised the projects, highlighting their important role in supporting and guiding the students throughout their projects.
Prof. Nancy wished the students continued success and excellence in their academic and professional careers, encouraging them to maintain their outstanding performance and contribute to the advancement and prosperity of their beloved country.
