Faculty of Computer and Information Organizes a Cultural Symposium Titled, “Egyptian Women, History and Sacrifices”


   Under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussein, Acting Tanta University President; Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Faculty Dean, Faculty of Computer and Information at Tanta University organized a cultural symposium under the title, “Egyptian Women, History and Sacrifices”. It was held under supervision of Prof. Omnia Al-Barbary, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, in cooperation with Tanta Media Complex.
   The symposium was run by Mrs. Amira Al-Tatawy, TV Presenter at Delta Channel and Acting Rapporteur of the Branch of the National Council for Women in Gharbia. It aimed to culture students, raise their awareness about the Egyptian culture and enhance the social ties.
   For her part, Faculty Dean affirmed her keenness on holding such symposiums which contribute to preparing a new generation of youth able to take responsibility and face the challenges.
   The symposium was attended by Dr. Osama Ghonaim, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Mrs. Azza Srour, General Manager of Middle Delta Media Center; Mr. Ibrahim Abdel Nabi, Manager of Tanta Media Complex; and Mr. Sayyed Seneid, from Tanta Media Center.
