Faculty of Computer and Information Organizes a Symposium Titled, “Ethical Challenges in Using AI”


   Under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussein, Acting Tanta University President; and Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information; under supervision of Dr. Omnia Al-Barbary, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, the faculty organized today a symposium titled, “Ethical Challenges in Using AI”. It was lectured by Dr. Ayda Nasr, Assistant Professor at IT Department.
   She tackled the importance of AI in daily life and AI technologies in different aspects of life. In addition, she discussed ways of data protection, ethical challenges of AI, limiting the spread of misinformation, and the impact on the public opinion via auto automated propaganda campaigns.
