Under auspices of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; and Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information, a team of students from Faculty of Computer and Information qualified to the Arab Collegiate Programming Contest (ACPC) after passing the Egyptian Collegiate Programming Contest. The ACPC is considered a qualification to the International Collegiate Programming Contest, (ICPC).
   Names of the participating students:

•    Ahmed Hassan Ibrahim Salim
•    Hassan Hamed Hassan Rashed
   For her part, Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Faculty Dean, congratulated the qualified students, affirming that the faculty always develops the spirit of innovation and creativity of its students. She commended the performance of the students during the period of the competition. She pointed out that the faculty works on discovering and supporting the talented in different fields to graduate a generation able to face the challenges of the labor market.
