Faculty of Computer and Information Participates in the 6th Joint Educational Symposium at Egyptian Universities and Institutes


   As part of its ongoing efforts to promote active engagement and reaffirm its societal role, Faculty of Computer and Information participated with a delegation of its students in the 6th Joint Educational Symposium for Egyptian universities and institutes, organized by the Popular and Military Defense Forces.
   The event was held at the Conference Center and was attended by Dr. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Osama Ghonaim, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development.
   The symposium was attended by M.G/ Ashraf Al-Gendy, Gharbia Governor; Major General Staff/ Hisham Hosni Hassan, Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces; Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University; Prof. Sherrif Khater, President of Mansoura University; Prof. Elhami Tarabis, President of Damanhur University; Brigadier General Staff/ Ahmed Mahdy Abdullatif, Assistant Commander of the Popular and Military Defense Forces; Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President of Tanta University for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Al-Sayyed El-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; in addition to several university vice presidents, Brigadier General Staff Wael Fathy, Military Advisor to Gharbia Governorate; Colonel Mostafa Abu Karam, Director of Military Education at Tanta University; a number of deans and vice deans; senior officers and leaders of the Popular and Military Defense Forces; as well as academic staff, executive and popular leaders, and students from Gharbia Governorate.
   In her remarks, Dr. Nancy Al-Hefnawy emphasized the constant commitment of the faculty to participating in symposiums that strengthen national identity and enhance students’ national awareness, noting that such events play a vital role in reinforcing the values of loyalty and belonging and in building an informed generation capable of confronting challenges.
