Faculty of Computer and Information organized the activities of the Presidential initiative, “Mawadda” for the academic year 2025–2026.
The event was held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussein, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty. It was attended by Dr. Osama Ghonaim, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.
The symposium was delivered by Prof. Hagar Alam Addin, Executive Director of the Main Center for Special Economic Centers and Units of Tanta University.
The training covered several key topics, including:
• Social factors that contribute to a successful marriage
• Health and medical aspects of family life
• Religious and ethical dimensions of family life
Prof. Al-Hefnawy emphasized that these initiatives are held within the framework of the commitment of the university to raising students’ awareness of the psychological and social foundations that preserve the cohesion of the Egyptian family. She added that providing a healthy and balanced religious environment is essential for building strong and cohesive families that, in turn, contribute to the development of a society capable of facing challenges and safeguarding national stability.
