Under the Slogan “A Stable Family, A Cohesive Society,” an Awareness Seminar at the Faculty of Computers and Information, Tanta University


   As part of the commitment of Tanta University to strengthening students’ social awareness and building well-rounded personalities, Faculty of Computer and Information organized an awareness seminar entitled “A Stable Family, A Cohesive Society”.
   The symposium was held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University; Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz; Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Faculty Dean.
   It was delivered by Dr. Osama Ghonaim, Acting Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, who highlighted several key points, most notably that societal stability begins with family stability, and that the family represents the first line of defense in protecting young people from destructive ideas. He also emphasized the importance of affection and mercy in building strong family relationships and in raising psychologically balanced generations capable of contributing positively to society.
   For her part, Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy stressed that organizing such events is out of the social responsibility of the university to raise national and social awareness among students and to prepare them to become effective contributors to the future development.
