Faculty of Computer and Information Organizes the Orientation Day on Data Analysis and AI Program



   Under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; and in attendance of Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information; Dr. Omnia Al-Barbary, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Dr. Osama Ghonaim, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; and Dr. Marian Wagdy, General Coordinator of the Program, the faculty organized the orientation day on Data Analysis and AI Program, Credit-Hour System.
   During the speech he delivered, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz affirmed that the areas of AI and data analysis represent the tools of the future that meet the requirements of the labor market, pointing out keenness of the university to provide all the advanced academic and environmental capabilities which support the quality of education and improve the student skills to cope with the modern standards. In addition, he enhanced the students to benefit from the opportunities the university provides which contribute to enhance innovation and critical thinking to shape their personality.
   For her part, Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy welcomed Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz expressing her appreciation for his support to Education and Student Affairs Sector and keenness of the university on the academic programs which cope with the rapid developments in the area of technology. 
   She also welcomed the new students who are going to join the program, affirming keenness of the faculty on providing an advanced educational environment that helps students acquire the knowledge and skills to cope with the digital developments. She pointed out that the program prepares qualified cadres for the areas related to data analysis and AI.
   
   The meeting aimed to introduce students to the study structure of the program, the specializations and career fields associated with it, as well as future employment opportunities in the areas of digital transformation and information technology. It also provided students with a set of academic guidelines to help them understand their academic path and the requirements for beginning their university life.
   The program aims to prepare specialized graduates with the knowledge and skills required to work with data, analyze it, and extract meaningful information from it. The program also focuses on developing an understanding of artificial intelligence applications and technologies, in line with the rapid developments in the digital labor market.
