The Orientation Day for New Students at Faculty of Computer and Information of the Academic Year 2026/2027


   
Under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; and Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information, the faculty organized the orientation day for new students who are accepted to join the faculty in the academic year 2026/2027. It was held in cooperation with Student Union, Youth Welfare Department, and the “Students for Egypt” Group. 
   The events were attended by Prof. Omnia Al-Barbary, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Osama Ghoneim, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Yasser Abdu, Executive Manager of the Talented Welfare Units at the University; and Dr. Adel Shahin, Manager of Youth Welfare Department. 
   At the beginning of the day, Prof. Nancy welcomed the new students who chose Faculty of Computer and Information to join and wished them every success. She affirmed that the faculty has gained a number of advanced ranks during the past years, praising the efforts exerted by the faculty administration in graduating youth able to take responsibility and compete in the labor market. She asked the students to adhere to general manners and ethics when expressing their opinions, whether on official social media pages or inside the community of the faculty.
   In addition, Prof. Osama Ghoneim and Dr. Omnia Al-Barbary interacted with students and answered their questions. They introduced each department and its relation to the labor market. During the meeting, a video about the faculty achievements in the last academic year was introduced.
