Faculty of Computer and Information organized the first awareness symposium of the academic year 2024/2025 under the title, “Stronger than Addiction” in cooperation with Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction and Abuse, affiliated to Prime Minister’s Office. It was held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussein, Acting Tanta University President; and Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Faculty Dean; under supervision of Dr. Omina Al-Barbary, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; in attendance a number of volunteers at Addiction Treatment & Abuse Fund; Gharbia Branch.
   The symposium was lectured by Mr. Mohammed Abul Yazid Allam, General Supervisor on the Preventive Programs at Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction and Abuse, Gharbia branch; and Prof. Hossam Tal’at, Head of Social Planning Department at the Higher Institute of Social Work in Kafr El-Sheikh.
