Faculty of Computer and Information Organizes a Symposium Titled, “Preparing Student Leadership”


   Under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President; and Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Dean of Faculty of Computer and Information, the faculty organized today the events of the symposium, “Preparing Student Leadership” in cooperation with Student Unions Department, affiliated to the General Administration for Youth Welfare. The symposium was held under supervision of Dr. Osama Ghonaim, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research and Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty, in attendance of Dr. Magdy Wakwak, Coordinator of Student Activities at the University; Dr. Mohammed Taha, Professor at Faculty of Education; Mrs. Naglaa Sallam, Manager of Student Unions Department; and Mrs. Rasha Gazaal, from the General Administration for Youth Welfare.
   For his part, Dr. Mohammed Taha highlighted the importance of preparing the student cadres and developing the students’ personality to prepare effective leaders.
   In addition, Prof. Magdy Wakwak affirmed keenness of the university on providing support to the students and opening the door for dialogue to overcome the obstacles facing them. He enhanced the students to participate in the student activities held by the faculty and the university as well to refine their talents and improve their skills.
