Faculty of Computer and Information Ranks 1st in Community Innovation and Digital Services Track


   A student team from Faculty of Computer and Information at Tanta University has won first place in the Community Innovation and Digital Services track for their project “Al-Folk” application, during the First Environmental Forum of Delta Universities hosted by the university.
   The achievement was under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. The team was supported by Prof. Nancy Al-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty, and supervised by Dr. Osama Ghonaim, Acting Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research.
   The forum was held with wide participation from academic leaders, including Prof. Mustafa Ref’at, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities; Prof. Mohamed Hussain, President of Tanta University; Prof. Mahmoud Salim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Ashraf Heniegal, President of Suez University; Prof. Abdul Fattah Sadaqa, former President of Tanta University and President of Al Salam University; Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research; Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Abdul Hakim Abdul Khaliq, former President of Tanta University; and Prof. Emad Etman, former Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development. The event was also attended by vice presidents from participating universities, deans and vice deans, academic staff, media representatives, and students.
